Monday 28th Feb 2011

E wind is up early making things a little messy, in saying that there are still some little 2ft lines coming through but with messy faces. The swell is out of E also. Pretty overcast day but still quite mild temp from yesterday and the night still here. Waves still lacking any power but if you are keen the water is still pretty good.

Sunday 27th Feb 2011

Swell has dropped a bit more again to be around the 1-2ft mark from the ENE. The wind is a light NW with the waves pretty clean but lacking any push what so ever. Another good looking and warm day ahead so again the main reason to get wet is the weather and not so much the waves.

Saturday 26th Feb 2011

Swell has tried to hang in there around the 2ft mark with the odd 3ft set from the E. The wind is swinging around a little this morning but is mainly from the NW. Still some fun little peaks around and another nice warm day ahead, so no better place than being in the water.

Friday 25th Feb 2011

Swell has dropped a fair bit from yesterday to be around the 2-3ft mark. The NE wind that came up yesterday afternoon has also swung the swell around to the E. Currently the wind is a light NW making conditions quite clean and some fun little peaks around. A good looking and hot day ahead, so while the water is still warm it is always worth getting wet.

Thursday 24th feb 2011

Swell has hung in there to be around the 4-6ft mark from the ESE. The wind is pretty light at the moment out of the SW, but has a slight chill in it and feels like it may turn to the S sooner than later, lets hope for later as the waves look pretty good and consistent peaks are all over the place. So best to hit it now with consistent clean lines of sell coming through. Another overcast day and a slight hint of summer ending with the slight chill in the air.

Wednesday 23rd feb 2011

The swell has kicked in a little more to be around the 6ft mark from the ESE. The wind i snot blowing to hard yet but it is already out of the ESE. With a good swell hanging around the protected Southern corners will still be the go, just depending on how much the wind picks up and if it turns more to the E. Still a really overcast day but the water is still pretty warm so if you can find that spot should be still worth a paddle.

Tuesday 22nd Feb 2011

The continuing strong ESE winds have picked up the swell to around the 4-5ft mark also from the ESE. It is pretty messy but there is the odd clean face waves, the protected Southern corners would be the go today, although it will be hard to escape the strong ESE winds. Another overcast day so only for the keen and desperate today.

Monday 21st Feb 2011

The Southerly finally came through in the early hours of this morning to cool things off, it also trashed the waves a fair bit with it around the 2-3ft mark from the ESE and very messy. The wind is pretty much directly from the S and if it continues to blow this hard expect the swell to start to increase. No where to hide from the wind today and pretty c rappy looking day so may be a good rest day.

Sunday 20th Feb 2011

Pretty similar to yesterday with the waves around the 2ft mark but have swung more to the N and is out of the NE. The wind is really calm out of the NW so it is quite clean. Another really hot day ahead and the water is still an amazing 22-23 degrees so worth getting wet.

Saturday 19th Feb 2011

Swell has dropped a little more to be around the 2ft mark from the E. The wind is up a little early out of the N but is not blowing too hard yet, so waves are still pretty clean. The waves are also a little bit dribble y and lacking some push but still consistent 2 ft ers are coming through. Looks like a pretty nice day and a hot one so will still be worth getting wet.

Friday 18th Feb 2011

A SE wind is up early this morning making things pretty ugly, the swell is around the 3ft mark from the E, but as the wind keeps blowing expect the swell to swing more to the S. Still some peaks around but the wind is into pretty hard. If you are keen check those protected Southern corners for maybe slightly cleaner waves.

Thursday 17th Feb 2011

Another pretty good looking day of surfing ahead with the swell holding in around the 3-4ft mark with a slight change of swell direction to the ENE. The wind has also changed to be out of the WNW. Conditions are looking pretty good now with clean conditions and consistent peaks. Don't hesitate.

Wednesday, February 16, 2011

Wednesday 16th Feb 2011

Some pretty nice looking waves this morning with the swell a consistent 3-4ft. The wind is also a light WSW so conditions are currently really clean. There are some good lines coming through at quite a consistent rate with peaks all over the place. It is still quite an overcast day but if the wind holds out should be a pretty good day of surfing.

Tuesday 15th Feb 2011

Another not so nice day with a 2-3ft swell from the ESE hanging around. the wind is actually from the SW so waves are pretty clean, however this will shortly change as the wind swings more to the SE. Couple of small peaks around so if you are keen for a surf best to hit it now.

Monday, February 14, 2011

Monday 14th Feb 2011

A strong ESE wind is blowing hard and has kept the waves around the 3-4ft mark also out of the ESE. really messy and ugly this morning with a few showers around also. Only for the really desperate today.

Sunday, February 13, 2011

Sunday 13th Feb 2011

The Southerly that blew through yesterday has kept the swell around the 2-3ft mark out of the ESE. The wind is out of the WSW so it is quite clean, but like yesterday it depends what it does later in the day. The waves again have some nice shape and are quite peaky making it definitely worth a paddle early. Bit of drizzle y rain around but still quite a mild temp day.

Saturday 12th feb 2011

Really nice conditions with a calm WNW wind and a 2-3ft ENE swell. The waves are mostly around the 2ft mark with the odd 3 ft er but have some nice shape about them. very mild temp last night and this morning making it easy to get keen to get in the water, bit overcast day though.
